A Heart of Worship - From Lake Okeechobee, Fl revival..

Worship from Meetings in Lake Okeechobee, Florida
By Gil Howard-Browne

I’m sharing a worship clip from our revival meetings in Lake Okeechobee, Florida, with this simple encouragement: take a moment to turn your heart toward the Lord.

Worship is more than singing a familiar song. It is our response to who God is, His goodness, His faithfulness, and His wonderful love. We can sing with our lips while our thoughts are somewhere else, but the Father desires worship that comes from the heart.

Jesus said, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”  John 4:23, KJV

In the Beatitudes, Jesus taught, “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”   Matthew 5:8, KJV. His words call us beyond outward appearances to an inward life surrendered to Him. Our worship should express that same sincerity, a heart that loves God and welcomes His work within us.

Whether we are gathered in a revival meeting or sitting quietly at home, we can offer Him our praise. We do not have to wait until every difficulty has passed. Even in uncertain circumstances, He remains worthy.

As you listen, let this be an invitation to pause, give thanks, and worship the Lord from your heart.

“O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.”  Psalm 95:6, KJV
